So I recently finished Graduate school, and got a decent job, and a nice house in Thousand Oaks, California. I am getting rid of a bunch of stuff, including an old TV I have had since high school. No one wants to buy it and charities don’t accept old TVs so what do I do?

Congratulations on finish Grad School. Old televisions are a hassle to get rid of; most charities do not accept older tube televisions for donations and since you can buy a flat screen television for less than $200 most people don’t want to buy old televisions.

Your only real solution is to call a junk removal service or a hauling service in Thousand Oaks. A hauling service in Thousand Oaks will pick up your television for a nominal fee and recycle or dispose of it for you. Hauling services in Thousand Oaks are also licensed to dispose of hazardous materials. And, yes, shockingly enough old televisions are considered hazardous by landfills in the city of Los Angeles.
